Refunds
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
The Ektasi platform is operated by Ektasi Technology (OPC) Private Limited. Because you can evaluate the platform fully on the Free plan before paying anything, paid upgrades are generally non-refundable. This page states the limited circumstances in which a refund is issued, how to cancel, and what happens if we fail to deliver.
1. Try it free, first
The Ektasi platform has a Free plan with no time limit. We recommend evaluating the platform — and the results you get from it — on the Free plan before upgrading. If the Free plan meets your needs, you never have to pay.
2. Paid plans — the 48-hour window
If you upgrade to a paid plan and it is not what you expected, you may request a refund within 48 hours of the upgrade, on one condition: that you have made only limited use of the paid features in that time. The window exists for a quick evaluation, not for completing real work and then asking for the money back.
3. No refund after use
We do not refund a billing period once the paid features have been actively used — generally after one day of use, or once metered features (AI generations, credits, sends, storage) have been consumed beyond limited evaluation. Generating content, sending campaigns, issuing invoices and running workflows all count as use.
4. Refunds are discretionary
Even within the 48-hour window, each request is reviewed on your actual usage and granted at our discretion. We will always tell you the decision and the reason for it.
5. How to request a refund
Write to [email protected] within 48 hours of upgrading, from the email address on your account, quoting the payment reference and telling us what was not right. If approved, the refund goes back to the original payment method — normally within 5–10 business days, though the time for funds to appear depends on your bank, card issuer or UPI provider.
6. What is never refundable
- Metered usage that has already been consumed — AI generations, credits, email or message sends, storage.
- Any usage beyond limited evaluation of the paid features.
- Requests made after the 48-hour window, or after more than one day of active use.
- One-time setup, migration or professional-services fees once the work has begun.
- Marketplace purchases of Ektasi products (Envato/CodeCanyon and similar) — those follow the marketplace’s own refund policy, and a marketplace refund revokes the licence as described in our EULA.
7. Cancelling a paid plan
A workspace administrator can cancel at any time from Plan & Credits in the dashboard — type CANCEL to confirm, and the end date is shown on screen and emailed to you. You may also write to [email protected] from the email address on your account. Cancelling stops future renewals; paid features stay active until the end of the current billing period, after which the workspace returns to the Free plan with your data intact. You can reverse a scheduled cancellation from the same screen up to the end date (except where the payment provider does not permit it, which we tell you at the time). Cancelling does not by itself create a refund for a period already paid.
8. If we fail to provide the service
Separately from the discretionary window: if we fail to provide the contracted service — availability of the Platform’s core functions in a calendar month falls below the 99.5% objective in section 7.1 of our Terms of Service, or a sustained outage attributable to us prevents core use — we refund the fees for the affected period in full within 14 working days of an approved claim. Email [email protected] from your account address within 30 days of the end of the month concerned. This is your sole and exclusive remedy for a shortfall against that objective.
9. Taxes and currency
Indian customers are billed in INR inclusive of GST; a tax invoice is issued for every charge. Customers outside India are billed in USD. Refunds are made in the currency and to the instrument originally charged; we do not bear exchange-rate differences or bank charges applied by your provider.
10. Complaints
If a refund request is not resolved to your satisfaction through support, our Grievance Officer, Rajan Singh ([email protected]), responds within 72 hours. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded by agreement.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
This policy is published by the operator named above and is binding on the service it describes. It is not legal advice to you; take independent advice where your situation needs it.
