Stop watching videos. Solve it together on a live board.
Gurva teaches your NCERT chapter out loud, in English or Hindi, writes it on the board and listens to your answer. When something does not land, it teaches it again a different way. From first basics to final mastery.
A teacher that talks, writes and listens.
Gurva is an AI teacher for school students. It teaches from the NCERT book's own text, section by section, out loud in English or Hindi; writes the working on a board; and listens to the answer, spoken or written in a notebook on the screen. A wrong answer is read for the reason behind it, and that is what gets taught next. Ask your own question at any point and it is answered from the book. It runs in the browser on a phone or a laptop, with nothing to install.
Taught, written, heard — and taught again.
A recorded video cannot tell that you did not follow. Gurva is built around the moment it notices, and what it does next.
Taught from the book
The NCERT book’s own text, section by section, a few paragraphs at a time in plain words, with every worked example and every activity.
Out loud, in your language
English or Hindi, chosen before the class and switchable in the middle of a lesson, in an Indian voice.
A board, not a video
The working and the key lines are written out on a board while the lesson is spoken.
It listens
Answer by speaking, or by writing in a notebook on the screen. A short check follows every worked example.
Wrong answers are read for why
A wrong answer is looked at for the reason behind it, and that is taught next. Not clear? A new way in: a new example, one from what you like, or the earlier idea first.
Practice that is checked
The book’s own exercises, one at a time, checked against the answers at the back of the book. A hint after a miss; the worked solution after a second.
The camera is optional, and stays on the device
It can notice a raised hand, a nod or a look away. That is worked out on the device itself; the video never leaves it and nothing is recorded. It can be switched off before the class.
A worrying remark stops the lesson
Gurva stops teaching and points the child to a trusted adult and to the national helplines, instead of carrying on.
Every reply is checked before it is said
Short turns, no shaming, no promises — a check every reply has to pass before it is spoken.
No ads, nothing to install
There is no advertising in the class. It runs in the browser on a phone or a laptop, and keeps each child’s place in every chapter.
It starts with the school book.
